I am glad to report, I severed some of the tentacles that had hold of me since I left.
.That took way too long.

Meditate 
How to meditate:
-Be seated in a comfortable position; ideally, in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.
-Breathe slowly. Pause after each inhale and take a short break after every exhale. 
-Focus on the breath and clear the mind of distractions. Release any attachment to your thoughts; pin them to a passing cloud and allow them to float away.
-Close your eyes and follow the breath with your mind's eye as it slowly completes each breath cycle:

deep inhalation, pause, exhale slowly, break; deep inhalation, pause, exhale slowly, break

-Goal: Continue this technique until you can continue for 15 minutes straight. This may take several sessions in order to achieve. The morning is usually the best time for me, though evenings are highly recommended too.

How does Meditation benefit YOU?
-It calms the nerves, settles the mind, releases tension, improves digestion, increases circulation, and enhances mental clarity.

-For a more advanced meditation, you must familiarize yourself with the concept of abdominal breathing.

  1. Sit in a relaxing position with your legs apart.
  2. Put your hands on your stomach. Using your stomach breathe in slowly through your nose. If you are doing it right your stomach will expand and you´ll feel it with your hands.
  3. Breathe out slowly through your nose and do it with some force so you feel your stomach pull slightly inwards towards your spine.
  4. Breathe in and out for about 30 times. Take deep and slow breaths.
  5. After you have taken 30 breaths and focused on counting them you should not only feel more relaxed and centered. Your body will also be able to continue breathing in this manner without you focusing on it.
  6. That´s it. Continue with your normal day.
I try to repeat this short exercise about 3-5 times a day to teach my body to eventually shift into belly breathing full-time.

How Kung Fu Kev stays healthy:
As much as possible, I try to abide by the ideas listed above. Here is a snapshot of an ideal day for me:
~Wake up, meditate, walk, stretch, eat breakfast.
~Conduct daily tasks. This could be: go to work, write, study, learn.
~Engage in physical exercise of some sort. For me, that involves: kung fu training, yoga, and/or playing with my dog.
~After the days is done, eat, stretch, relax, meditate, and give thanks.
~Bedtime (where I visualize the tomorrows I want to have....
~Fall asleep dreaming of my desired future.

Follow these two with a visit to the local art gallery, a new-to-you church, or a neighborhood stage with a live performance or music, then, got to the beach, a park, or go to Griffith Park.

Male Specific Health:
-Tips I've learned through my studies:
-While urinating, stand on your tip-toes. This provides your organs with an internal 'massage'.
-After showering, cup the 'jewels' and rotate them in a circle, once for every year you have lived. Start going clockwise, then counter-clockwise. So, if you are 20 years old, you should make 40 revolutions.
This increases semen production, sexual stamina, and overall male health.

I hope these tips and ideas have helped spark your imagination.
